Responsibilities / Duties
Driver Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues promptly.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize travel time.
Report any accidents, injuries, or traffic violations to the appropriate authorities and the company management.
Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both inside and outside.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a driver, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.
Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
Excellent navigation and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as needed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work varied hours and weekends, if required
A relevant qualification with experience.
