Job Title: Finance Reporting Manager
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Finance Reporting Manager Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and other management reports for management’s decision making.
- Support the Head, Finance in preparation of the annual financial statement annual and periodic internal and external audits and attending to auditors’ queries promptly.
- Managing the Monthly GL reconciliation process; (i) Monthly timelines template table circularization.
- Provide monthly reports on NSIA’s performance to Executive Management.
- Ensure the Management Account is ready and reviewed by the 3rd Working day of every month.
- Supports managing the external audit process for financial statements issuance and tax audits, and desk reviews during interim and year-end audit exercises.
- Preparation of relevant supporting schedules for statutory audits as and when requested. • Monitor regularization of issues raised in external audit management letters and internal audit reports.
- Prepare statutory annual audit reports and processing of returns to various regulators such as NAICOM (NAICOM’s quarterly and annual reports) and respond to NAICOM
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
- A postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance Management or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Minimum of Six (6) years relevant experience with at least three (3) years mid managerial experience preferably in an insurance firm.
- A professional qualification of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Associate status is mandatory.
