Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Restaurant Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure the smooth running of accounting processes in our restaurant.
- The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting, with a specific focus on the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare accurate financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to optimize profitability
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist in tax preparation and liaise with external auditors when necessary
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an accountant, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, budgeting, and tax compliance
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must reside in Abuja.
