Overview
- We are seeking a skilled Accounts Officer with expertise in tax and audit.
- The successful candidate will ensure compliance with tax regulations, conduct internal audits, and maintain accurate financial records.
- This role is vital for upholding financial accuracy and supporting the company’s growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to verify financial accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support external audits and provide guidance on tax and financial compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on tax and audit.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience in the construction or maintenance industry is an advantage.
Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / month.
