Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lekki Phase 1 Lagos,
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Handle Cash, Transfer, POS transactions with customers
- Prepare receipts and collect payments, issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
- Prepare sales reports
- Bank all cash daily
- Keep reports of all transactions and take inventory of all items supplied to the store
- Ascertain reorder levels and take charge of reorders
- Regular Stock-taking
- Prepare Financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Filing of Tax returns to the relevant body
- Prepare Payrolls & Pay slips
- Detailed recording of all income, expenses
- Maintain customer database and loyalty programs
- Bag, box or wrap packages
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
- Auditing skills
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess HND/B.Sc in Accounting/Banking & Finance or related.
- A minimum of 3 years work experience.
- Proficient in Windows and MS office, High level of MS Excel Knowledge
- Knowledge of BUSY Accounting Software is a plus
- Must possess suggestive selling skills
- Experience in retail and basic math skills
- Attention to detail and have a strong work ethic and integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills.
Salary
- N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
