Responsibilities

• Accountant / Bookkeeper To maintain proper books of underlying accounting records and ascertain, updateand inform the organisation regularly about both its financial position and financial performance;
• Provide back-up support for the Financial Controller/Strategy Manager comprehensively and effectively

Requirements

• Good First Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related Field;
• Three (3) years’ work experience in Accounting or Finance function(s) in manufacturing, financial services or other business sector;
• Good familiarity with accounting and finance concepts, practicesand procedures e.g. auditing, due diligence exercises, feasibility studies, business plans, etc;
• Extensive familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounting activities such as; maintenance of books of primary entry e.g. Cashbooks and the General Ledger.
