Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Chinese Translator/Administrator to join our team.
• This dual-role position involves translating documents and communications between Chinese and English Language while providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the organization.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent language skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Translation:

• Converting written content from Chinese to English Language (or vice versa) while preserving meaning, tone, and style.
• Understanding cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions to ensure that translations are appropriate and relevant..
• Reviewing and revising translations for accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness.
• Interacting with clients to clarify requirements, understand the target audience, and provide updates on project progress.
• Ensuring that sensitive information is handled with care and confidentiality, particularly in business documents.
• Staying updated on language trends, translation tools, and industry-specific developments to improve skills and efficiency.

Administration:

• Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and organize appointments.
• Facilitate communication between Chinese-speaking clients and non-Chinese speakers.
• Maintain and organize files, databases, and documentation related to administrative tasks.
• Assist with data entry, filing, and general office organization.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Chinese (written and spoken) and English Language
• Chinese proficiency test certificate is required.
• Previous experience in translation and administrative roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with translation tools and software is a plus.
• Candidates should be willing to go on official trips when the need arises.
