Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled Resident Chef to join our team in Abuja.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious meals for our residents / guests, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals for residents/guests, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and portion control
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
• Supervise and train kitchen staff
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a chef in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or residential setting
• Culinary certification or equivalent
• Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of international cuisine
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Nigerian and international food safety regulations
• Ability to reside on-site (accommodation provided).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with menu planning and cost control
• Knowledge of special diets (e.g., vegan, gluten-free)
• Familiarity with Nigerian and Intercontinental cuisiness and ingredients.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
