Job Title: E-payment / Wallet Accountant
Location: Alagomeji, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Major Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of e-wallet transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payment processing activities.
- Managing and tracking e-wallet balances and transactions
- Processing refunds and chargebacks
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards
- Prepare monthly/ quarterly financial statements, reports, and analytics for the e-payment and digital wallet operations.
- Work closely with the product, operations, and compliance teams to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Implementing and updating e-wallet systems and processes
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as IT and finance
- Providing training and support for e-wallet systems
- E-payment / Wallet Accountant Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the e-payment and digital wallet services.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the e-payment and digital wallet business lines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, & e-wallet accounting & management
- Professional certification such as CPA , CMA is a key requirement.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in e-wallet software and systems
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Adaptability skills.
Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 / month.
