Job Summary

• To ensure equipment is in good working condition with minimal downtime recorded in line with BU goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Electrician Conduct tests and assessments of systems and repairs to ensure quality.
• Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other electrical equipment.
• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic panels for equipment.
• Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted.
• Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule.
• Log all services and report progress to management.
• Utilize and store all equipment properly.
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Qualifications

•  5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
• OND / NABTEB / C&G / WAEC

Experience:

• Have at least 2 year’s experience in a similar role.

Requirements:

• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Have great organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.
