Job Title: Legal Compliance Manager

Job Summary
- As a Legal Compliance Manager, you will provide guidance and support to the Legal & Compliance department on compliance and other related matters and ensure the company’s compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations / requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 3 years in a senior position/role.
- Compliance experience in a CBN-regulated entity.
- Master’s Degree will be an advantage.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to be adaptive, flexible, and collaborative.
Responsibilities
- Provide sound advice on compliance matters to the organization as well as its various business units and departments.
- Review internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.
- Drive awareness and compliance with regulatory and statutory directives and requirements.
- Liaise and engage regulatory bodies/authorities on the organization’s behalf.
- Keep abreast of, monitor and analyze regulatory trends and changes in regulatory directives, rules and regulations.
- Assist the Chief Legal Officer with any other duties or projects as required.
