Job Summary

• The Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our vehicle servicing and repair department.
• This role involves managing a team of technicians and service advisors, ensuring high standards of service delivery, optimizing workshop productivity, and maintaining excellent customer relations.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of automotive technicians, service advisors, and support staff. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Oversee daily workshop operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and inventory control. Ensure that all service and repair work is performed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Ensure that all customer interactions are handled effectively and that service and repair work meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all work performed meets safety and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets, including labor costs, parts inventory, and other expenses. Develop strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall service quality.
• Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance, including key metrics such as service revenue, customer satisfaction, and technician productivity.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive service management or a related field, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing workshop operations.
• Relevant Technical Certification or Degree in Automotive Technology, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in automotive diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive problem-solver with a strategic mindset.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly
