Job Description
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with different departments to streamline processes and improve workflow.
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures.
- Manage resources, including staff, materials, and equipment, to optimize performance.
- Prepare and present reports on operational status and improvements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to address technical issues and implement solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Social Science, or a related field.
- Fluency in Hausa is required.
- Not less than 5 years proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using operational management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in a relevant field.
- Females are preferred.
- Certification in operations management or related areas is a plus.
- Experience in the oil and gas, energy sector.
